Megan Kuo: Pomona College 2020

Welcome to my site! I am currently a senior neuroscience major and media studies minor at Pomona College. I created this website for my Intro to Digital Art class at Scripps College in order to display my portfolio project work.

My portfolio project consists of six digital art pieces dedicated to my Pomona-Pitzer Soccer 2019 family (work featured on Pomona-Pitzer athletics social media content). The work was inspired by my senior teammates and the love they have shown me. I wanted to give back to them and my entire team. This team is "out of this world" special. We have been shooting for the stars this season, and all our hard work has finally paid off.

This soccer season has been uniquely special, and not to mention, it has been a historical, record-breaking journey. Not only did we "blast off" to Greensboro, NC for the FINAL FOUR, but this is the first time I have found a genuine family in soccer. I have been playing soccer for at least 15 years and have fallen out of love with the game for many different reasons. Thus, I am extremely grateful that I am ending my soccer career the happiest I have been with 26 of the most inspirational people I know by my side. Thank you Isa, Naomi, Lindsey, Kendall, Ponz, Kwikus, Isabel, Kington, Bria, Ciannah, Hannah, Gen, TV, Raye, Char, EP, Maya, Kimmy, Helena, Chole, Melia, Tomz, Sophie, Shay, Lily, Bri Bri.
